IPHONE · SAFARI

Add to Home Screen

Open the app home page in Safari. If you came from ChatGPT or another app, open the link in your browser first.
Open Safari’s Share menu, then choose Add to Home Screen. Depending on your Safari layout, Share may be under the More menu.
Turn on Open as Web App if that option appears, then tap Add.
Open the VOICE icon to use the app.

ANDROID · CHROME

Install from Chrome

Open the app home page in Chrome.
Open Chrome’s More ⋮ menu.
Choose Install and create shortcut, then Install. Some versions say Install app or Add to Home screen.
Follow the browser prompts, then open the VOICE icon.

Some browsers create a shortcut instead of a standalone app. If installation is unavailable, use the browser version.

Using VOICE Connect

No account required. Anyone with the app link can open it. You do not need a VOICE or ChatGPT account. Installing is optional.
Internet is required. There is no dedicated offline copy. If the app does not load, use your phone directly for calls.
No push notifications. This app does not ask for notification, location, camera, microphone, or contacts access.
After using Quick Exit: the installed app keeps a neutral weather screen in that same session, even after weather.gov opens in your browser. If the website did not open, use “Open weather website” on that screen. To return intentionally, open the app URL in a fresh browser tab when safe. Closing and reopening the icon may preserve the exited session.
To remove it: use your device’s Remove/Delete App or Uninstall option. Removing an icon does not guarantee deletion of browsing history or provider records.
